In the early morning of February 24, 2022, Russia launched missile attacks on Ukrainian territory and launched a direct, full-scale invasion. The Ukrainian Armed Forces fight back the enemy

- "Terrorists No. 2 are no longer terrorists, but friends!" - terrorists No. 1

-Armenia wants money from Russia

Given the difficult social situation in Armenia, Armenia turned to Russia with a request to return approximately $400 million paid to Moscow for weapons, the supply of which never began.

However, the Russian side refused to return the money, citing the fact that the contracts for the supply of weapons had not yet been terminated.

- President of Kazakhstan Tokayev:

Kazakhstan is not “anti-Russian” and is firmly committed to full cooperation with Moscow.

Confrontation with sanctions is counterproductive. Kazakhstan does not participate in parallel imports to Russia.

Tokayev called for finding a “mutually acceptable basis” for negotiations between Russia and Ukraine and noted that the world “has come to a dangerous point of fatal confrontation.”

- Russian military source Fighter Bomber reported that another Russian Su-35 fighter has gone missing.

The pilot, apparently, died.

- Armenia is boycotting the meeting of defense ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan refused to participate in a meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CIS countries, held in the Russian city of Tula.

- President of Azerbaijan Aliyev:

Today I send a message to the parties who have unacceptable plans against Azerbaijan:

Don't play with our patience. We are patient but determined.

We can and do prove that we are right. Not because we have power, because justice is on our side.

- Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban:

Before the EU can even begin membership negotiations with Ukraine, very difficult questions will need to be answered.

We cannot avoid the question - when we have negotiations in Brussels in the fall about the future of Ukraine - whether we can really seriously consider the issue of membership of the country, begin accession negotiations with a country that is at war.

We don't know how big the territory of this country is, since the war is still going on, we don't know how big its population is, since they are fleeing... to accept a country into the EU without knowing its parameters would be unprecedented.

So I think we need to answer some very long and difficult questions before we actually decide to start accession negotiations.

- Finnish media reports that the Finnish armed forces are entering into secret agreements with landowners to build fortifications near the Russian border.

According to publications, such agreements are designed for 20 years, and the number of farmers who have signed the agreements is already in the dozens.

The landowner, concluding a deal, receives a one-time payment of 750 euros, and if work begins – 4800 euros plus compensation for damage caused.

One of these agreements, which the publication refers to, states:

"The Defense Forces will inform the landowner of urgent construction by telephone, email or letter no later than 1 day before the start of work."

- Weapons worth more than 30 million hryvnia: Kiev police exposed the criminals who kept the TOR air defense system from the Russians.

38- and 45-year-old residents of the Boryspil region illegally received and storedanti-aircraft missile system and ammunition of Russian security forces.

According to preliminary data, the weapons were abandoned by the Russian military during hostilities in the Chernigov region.

First, the police discovered and seized the TOP anti-aircraft missile system, which one of the suspects was hiding in the Brovary district.

After carrying out a series of operational-search activities, law enforcement officers managed to establish the location of the military supplies of the system - they were stored by the second offender in another district of the Kyiv region in a rented garage box.

By decision of the court, the ammunition was transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces. The cost of the missiles is about 30 million hryvnia.

The first International Defense Industry Forum started in Kyiv.

The event is attended by representatives of 252 defense companies from 30 countries.

The creation of the Defense Technologies Alliance was initiated within the framework of the forum. It has already included 13 companies.

- Romania is moving its air defense systems closer to the border with Ukraine.

Additional measures include the deployment of four US F-16 aircraft and the expansion of the no-fly zone.

Wreckage of Russian attack drones has been found in Romania at least three times.

- Russian military source Fighter Bomber reported that last night Russian air defense tried to shoot down several more Russian aircraft, but none of them were successful.

Just yesterday, a Russian Su-35 fighter was shot down as a result of friendly fire.

- Zelensky:

Ukraine is creating the world's first fleet of maritime drones.

Ukraine also began producing guns and shells according to NATO standards.

- Turkish aerospace company BAYKAR invests $100 million in Ukraine

General Director of BAYKAR Haluk Bayraktar:

We have three main investments in Ukraine. One of them — factory. We have a service center and head office here. This is an investment of about $100 million and the process has already begun. Construction has already begun. It will take about 1.5 years. We plan to employ at least 300 people here.

This production will be self-sufficient, environmentally friendly and mutually beneficial, since Ukraine has unique engine production technologies, and the Turkish side has UAVs on which these engines are installed.

We also face some problems. These are the supply chain, the sourcing and development of human capital in the aftermath of war, and the regulatory framework, especially the rules to support these investments.

The current war has become a war of drones and Ukraine has some advantages in this regard, although difficult to realize, especially due to the use of different types of aircraft. In these circumstances, feedback from the military regarding the use of technology is especially important. That is why the “Bayraktars” used in Ukraine equipped with a number of unique systems.

We are not here to maximize our income or profit. We are here to support you as much as possible. We respect your struggle for freedom and independence, for the protection of your sovereignty.

All donations from Baykar, as well as Ukraine and Poland, were aimed specifically at the purchase of radar systems, which have already detected thousands of targets and brought significant results on the battlefield.

The total volume of these donations is $106 million.

- Head of the Bundestag Defense Committee Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann:

Ukraine has the right to strike with Taurus missiles across the territory of the Russian Federation.

She called on the German government toSlowly supply Ukraine with long-range Taurus missiles.

«Each of us weighs everything (to supply missiles or not). But if you delay, you can only prolong the suffering.”

- Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mikhail Fedorov:

Meeting with General Director of BAYKAR Haluk Bayraktar.

Highlights: Strengthening Ukraine's air defense with Baykar solutions and taking our defense technology partnership to the next level.

Investment of $100 million in a plant for the production of UAVs from BAYKAR — this is a powerful signal to the world. Ukraine is open to technology and innovation.

- Zelensky:

Our state will become one of the world's key producers of weapons and defense systems.

And this is no longer just a prospect, it is a potential that has begun to be realized.

- The Czech Republic will transfer to Ukraine a license for the production of CZ BREN 2 assault rifles.

In addition, Prague will help organize the production of ammunition.

- British troops will be deployed to Ukraine for the first time in accordance with plans being discussed with military leaders, new British Defense Secretary Grant Shapps said.

In an interview with The Telegraph, Grant Shapps said he had held talks with army leaders about moving the formal UK-led training program "to Ukraine", rather than relying on bases in the UK and other NATO members.

He also called on more British defense firms to open factories in Ukraine.

The British army will train Zelensky's army on the ground, and the navy may move to the Black Sea.

Separately, having assured Zelensky on Wednesday that the UK would "continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine", Mr Shapps suggested the UK was preparing to play a more active role in helping the country defend against attacks in the Black Sea, where Russia is increasingly targeting on cargo ships carrying grain.

«Over the past month or so we have witnessed events – really the first since 2014 on the Black Sea, in Crimea – and the UK is a naval power so we can help and advise, especially as water – This is international water.

“It is important that we do not allow the default situation to establish that somehow international navigation in these waters is prohibited. So I think there are many places where Britain can help with advice. [I] discussed this with President Zelensky and many others this week."

Positioning British troops in Ukraine or offering naval support in the Black Sea would represent a significant escalation of Britain's involvement in the conflict.

- The US House of Representatives voted for a temporary bill that will allow the US government to continue its activities for 45 days.

Aid to Ukraine was not included in the bill, despite pressure from the Pentagon.

President Biden supported the bill.

Ukraine supporters say failure to hand over aid will embolden Russian President Vladimir Putin and likely cause European allies to scale back their support for the war.

- Drive/Combat Zone:

Satellite images show that Russia is now drawing silhouettes of Tu-95MS "Bear-N" strategic bombers. in the parking lots of its main bombing base, Engels Air Force Base, also known as Engels 2.

Planet Labs satellite image obtained by The War Zone and taken on September 29 shows two-dimensional decoys decorated on the Engels runway. cabin area.

The second painted lure looks partially finished next to the finished one.

It's worth noting that it's entirely possible that this is some kind of low profile fabric/canvas or other decoy, but it has virtually no vertical dimension, so it's most likely paint.

- Medvedev:

German factoriesproduction of Taurus cruise missiles will become a legal target for the Russian Armed Forces if these missiles are supplied to Ukraine.

British military instructors will become a legitimate target for the Russian Armed Forces if the Ukrainian Armed Forces training courses are moved to Ukraine.

The West is actively pushing Russia towards World War III.
