It would seem that McDonald's burgers have no place at a wedding, but this couple from France went against all generally accepted rules. The newlyweds ordered food from a fast food restaurant with catering for their wedding. 
Newlyweds from France recently shared footage from their wedding, which caused many reactions on the Internet. Ophelie, 25, and her husband Thomas ordered burgers and nuggets from McDonald's as the main dish for their wedding. The video posted on the bride’s account shows the guests’ reaction to the proposed meal: some applauded the newlyweds’ unusual idea, while others were clearly perplexed. In total, 45 guests attended the couple's wedding. 
In an interview with People magazine, the couple explained that they are big Mac fans and once joked about how it would be nice to order fast food for their wedding. The guys also said that close friends at their wedding were not particularly surprised when bags of burgers were brought into the reception hall. According to the guys, at first some guests were skeptical about this idea - mostly adult relatives - but in the end everyone liked it. 
According to the couple, they do not encourage other newlyweds to order food from Mak for their weddings. They believe that any spouse can arrange whatever comes to their mind at their wedding - after all, this is only their celebration. In addition, they did this not to save money, but for fun.
"We understand that many people love McDonald's, but not everyone. Our wedding idea received wide publicity - and it is normal that not everyone appreciated this idea. We understand this very well. Judging by the initial reaction of our guests, their opinions were also controversial. However, later their opinions changed. At first some were shocked, but in the end everyone liked it," said Thomas. 
The couple's wedding video quickly gained popularity and collected 2.3 million views online. Users' opinions were divided: some were sure that the newlyweds could do whatever they wanted with their wedding, while others ridiculed such an idea.
