Every Indian family in the US bought 10-15 bags of rice because India blocked the export of rice, one netizen wrote, saying that some families have already accumulated up to 150 bags of rice.
Recall that earlier India banned the export of all rice, except for Basmati. Thus, the authorities want to stop the rise in prices in the domestic market.
