Destroyed "Titanic" for the first time digitized (9 photos)
The wrecked Titanic has been digitized for the first time. Scientists have created a three-dimensional model of the sunken ship, media reported.
The "Digital Twin" was born thanks to technology developed by deep sea specialist Magellan Ltd.
The wreck was scanned for six weeks expeditions last year. To do this, they used two submersibles called "Romeo and Juliet" at a depth of 3,800 meters.
In accordance with strict rules, the Titanic was not touched or disturbed, and the entire facility was treated with the utmost respect, including a flower-laying ceremony in memory of those who died.
