A tourist captures a crocodile chasing an antelope in an African river

A young wildlife enthusiast on a trip to a nature reserve in Botswana earlier this year couldn't contain her emotions when she saw a water reptile chasing an African lychee antelope in the Chobe River.

The artiodactyl inhabitant of the reserve took a big risk by swimming across the water surface.

Judging by the shots taken by the tourist from the boat, the crocodile did not take long to wait and overtook the antelope near the shore, but could not drag its prey to the bottom, which, using powerful legs, fought off the predator, and then jumped onto land and crossed the clearing in a matter of seconds , hid in the forest.
