The sick foal was taken to the field and left to die (7 photos)
One woman, going for a walk with her dog in a field, noticed something strange. As she came closer, she realized that a young horse was lying in front of her. The baby's condition was very bad, he was dying...
The woman realized that she could not cope with the situation alone, and immediately called the rescue service. Help arrived quickly. It turned out that the dying man was still just a foal. Apparently, he became seriously ill, and the “owners” couldn’t come up with anything better than to take the horse far away and leave it to die alone. When the rescuers offered the horse a drink, he did it with such greed, as if he had never seen water in his life! To transport the animal more safely, volunteers had to call a veterinarian. All the time the specialist was on the way, people desperately tried to prolong the fading life of the foal.
As luck would have it, it was very cold that day, and in order for the baby to warm up, the rescuers brought all the blankets from their cars.
Soon a huge number of caring people gathered around the horse! One man, who runs a horse farm nearby, brought a special bedding that volunteers used as a sling to lift him to his feet.
Finally the vet arrived. He helped the unfortunate man get to a special trailer, which was intended to transport him to the intensive care unit.
After a medical examination, it became clear that the road to recovery for Adi (as the baby was named) would not be easy. He was found to have many helminths filling almost all his organs.
Adi is still in the process of recovery, and rescuers hope that everything will end well.
Despite the difficult condition, the foal bravely fights for life and health. Volunteers say that as soon as he grows up, he will become the most wonderful companion for a loving owner!
By the way, the rescue service is not giving up attempts to find the culprits of this incident. Adi's former owners broke the law, leaving their horse in mortal danger. We hope that the perpetrators will be punished, and Adi himself will soon turn into a beautiful high-breed horse.
