Residents of Texas were warned in advance about the impending Hurricane Harvey, but during the evacuation, careless owners left their pets to die in flooded areas. Houston was hit especially hard by the flooding, and the photographs below were taken in this city. Fortunately, there were kind people who saved the animals from certain death.

Houston, which has already received 50 cm of rain, has been hit especially hard by the flooding. Authorities warned residents in advance of the impending disaster, but some still did not have the time or desire to take their pets to shelter.
