The shaggy ball wandering along the street turned out to be a Shih Tzu puppy (4 photos)
It was not immediately possible to recognize the tangled ball of fur moving through the streets of the English city of Bury as a purebred puppy. Meet Rosie. She probably got lost, or her owners left her to fend for herself, but still, the world is not without good people!
A passerby spotted the furball wandering in the park and took it to the veterinary clinic. Due to the long, matted fur, at first the doctors could not determine what kind of creature was in front of them.
The animal did not have a collar, a microchip, or any other identification marks (although most British pets have these).
During the grooming process, they were surprised to discover under the dirty coat... a purebred Shih Tzu puppy
After shaving, multiple wounds were found on the dog's skin. But Rosie (the veterinarians gave her the nickname) fell into caring hands!
Members of the RSPCA are investigating to find out how the dog ended up on the street and who lost it or left it in this state.
