Heartbreaking images of a crying pit bull named Blue King, whom his owners abandoned at a California shelter, touched the Internet. No one expected Blue to have such an emotional reaction. Fortunately, this story has a happy ending!

Blue's owners gave the dog to a dog shelter due to the move, deciding not to take him to a new home. A shelter employee offered Blue a treat, but he didn’t touch it. Tears flowed non-stop from the dog's eyes. Some speculated that he had allergies.

Dogs at the Carson shelter in California are often euthanized if homes cannot be found for them. The longer Blue stayed in the shelter, the higher his chances of being euthanized.

The shelter staff decided to help the suffering dog: they posted a video about him online, in the hope that a family would be found for him. Luckily, Blue found a home soon after!

Of the many dogs at the shelter, a woman named Jennifer chose Blue.

Jennifer says: "He looked very depressed and didn't even pay attention to me. While the other dogs were cheering and wagging their tails, he didn't even move." The dog seemed to understand that he had been betrayed and abandoned.
