Money can't buy a friend, and that's the honest truth! This story was told by Elina Didenko. 5 years ago, her daughter decided to adopt a dog from a shelter. Elya asked the child on what basis she chose her pet. The girl's answer was very touching:
I didn’t care what this dog would look like, how old it would be, or what gender it would be. I chose the most unfortunate person who lived in the shelter the longest!
The girl judged correctly - it is much easier for small and medium-sized male dogs to find owners at the shelter. But big and intractable dogs have a hard time.
Elina’s daughter took home a huge aggressive male dog, who lived in the shelter for almost 3 years, but no one wanted to get involved with the “problem” dog.
The woman says: “Probably, the hopelessness of finding an owner again had already settled in the soul of this big guy and lived life to the fullest. I won’t tell you with what grateful eyes this red-haired giant has been looking at my daughter for five years!
Now this is ours, our dear red monster, affectionate, obedient, kissing and hugging!
The once aggressive and angry dog has turned into the kindest pet!
The girl made the right choice, because the heart never fails in such matters...
