A Plymouth with an engine behind the driver’s seat

This is the Drag Slug—a modified 1952 Plymouth. The cab was moved almost to the front wheels, and the engine was placed right behind the driver.

Behind the driver is a 520-cubic-inch Mopar—about 8.5 liters—with a supercharger. In terms of layout, this Plymouth is closer to a mid-engine sports car than to the original 1952 vehicle.
