Tiny V8 with a small mechanical supercharger works and sounds like a real one
At first glance, this all looks like pampering, but radio-controlled cars need to be taken seriously. You can even make them almost as crazy as real cars.
The JohnnyQ90 channel has a video report on installing a drive compressor on a V8 engine. The trick is that the motor is miniature, designed for scale models, so the work requires special skills.
To increase power, the author of the video installed a drive compressor on his motor like on real cars.
Despite the factory origin of the kit, the installation required a number of improvements. Now the miniature V8 with a displacement of only 28 cubic centimeters sounds like a full-fledged compressor motor of a muscle car.
The author notes that not everything functions perfectly. Requires reconfiguration or replacement of the carburetor, as the engine does not work well at high speeds. In addition, it is worth redoing the drive, which is now implemented with one belt for all attachments of the motor.
