Tesla is set to release a flying car — a literal rocket on wheels that can jump, fly, pull off kickflips, and hit 0–100 km/h in less than a second. Co-developed with SpaceX, the Roadster lifts off the ground using a cold-gas thruster system.

The vehicle will come in three versions: the standard road model hits 100 km/h in 1.6 seconds, the sport trim does it in 0.9 seconds, and the Rocket edition blasts through in 0.59 seconds with a top speed exceeding 370 km/h — though that one won't be street-legal.

Production is scheduled to begin in 2028, with pricing details yet to be announced.
