Navy SEALs: One Strike, Total Decimation! (28 Photos)

The Navy SEALs are an elite special operations force capable of operating in any environment. Special emphasis is placed on preparing and equipping these units to execute missions in maritime and coastal settings.

The acronym "SEAL" represents the operational environments for which these units train: Sea, Air, and Land. Operating in small, exceptionally trained teams, they execute stealth night operations vital to national security. Deployed worldwide to protect national interests, Navy SEALs—together with the high-speed craft operated by their Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen (SWCC) counterparts—form the core of Naval Special Warfare under the leadership of the Naval Special Warfare Command.
