19 Hilariously Fluffy Idiot Cats (20 Photos)

Majestic, scholarly cats only exist in fairy tales. In real life, our beloved felines regularly set new records for pure derpiness, finding themselves in the most mind-boggling places and situations. Anyone who’s ever chased a terrified little weirdo around the house trying to free it from a paper bag it got itself stuck in will relate. Or anyone who’s had to rescue their cat from the Christmas tree. Seeing these hilarious mishaps leaves you feeling equal parts bewildered and amused, and honestly, you just have to laugh.

"My cat is an idiot. He’s been stalking this kitten for three weeks now."

Pretty sure he just realized he messed up.

Boxes never fail as cat traps, no matter what's inside.

A stubborn little furball.

Out of all the places in the house, he chose this one.

Why not drink from the dog's bowl? The cat bowl is too easy, plus this tastes better.

Self-inflicted punishment.

The key is to act natural. Just a cat in the fridge, nothing to see here.

"Don't ask how, but my cat got stuck between two doors. Judging by his face, he is not amused."

Looks like someone got into a tight spot.

Does he actually like it there, or is he just pretending?

Someone's stuck.

Cats just really, really love bags.

A near-fatal mistake!

"My cat is an idiot. He got stuck in a paper bag handle. I am the idiot laughing at him while cutting the handle off."

"He's trying to catch his own tail!"

There's no better spot for a cat.

Good thing the owner was home.

Where else would a cat sit if not in the baby chair?!
