Why Do Young and Healthy Japanese Women Constantly Wear Diapers? (5 photos)
Can you imagine a young, perfectly healthy person voluntarily wearing a diaper? Is that silly? But the Japanese actually do it, and it's mostly women—those sexy, adorable girls whose photos arouse, if not arousal, then at least interest and affection in men.
Now consider this: most Japanese beauties have long since traded in their underwear for diapers, and the demand for this type of hygiene product is only growing every day. Why? Let's find out.
It's no secret that Japan is an incredibly strange place, where things happen that leave everyone else confused and mildly shocked. And it seems like the Japanese have nothing left to surprise us with, but... No such luck!
It turns out that local girls have long since traded in standard underwear for adult diapers, and not for medical reasons.
It turns out that young and healthy women make such sacrifices to save time! Everyone knows that Japan has a cult of work. The country's hardworking residents can't imagine themselves without some kind of activity, even if they sometimes literally fall asleep on the streets from exhaustion and drink like crazy to relax a little.
Competition for prestigious jobs is fierce here. The level of competition is so high that many Japanese men give up their personal lives and devote themselves entirely to their profession. Women find it more difficult to build a career than men, so they must make a special effort to stay in their positions, much less advance.
And time, as we know, can never be regained. Therefore, Japanese women treasure every minute and literally never leave their offices. Even if they need to go to the restroom…
Under such circumstances, going to the restroom is a luxury, say women in the Land of the Rising Sun. They've long since discovered the wonder of adult diapers. Thanks to them, women can relieve themselves while continuing to go about their daily business. Men also use these perks, albeit less frequently due to the inherent inconvenience. However, special diapers for both women and men are now appearing in pharmacies, so it's possible their popularity will soon increase.
Kaori Adachi, a 25-year-old employee at a Tokyo real estate agency, said she's been regularly wearing diapers to work for a year and has become so accustomed to them that she simply can't do it any other way.
Another woman admitted that she uses this sanitary product outside of work as well. And it turns out she's not alone. Many Japanese women wear diapers when going to parties so they can fully relax and, again, avoid the distraction of going to the bathroom.
Given the Japanese love of wild abandon, this can be somewhat explained. But the idea of Japanese girls and boys wearing diapers to work seems downright bizarre.
