Ford recalls over 740,000 vehicles due to a transmission defect that could cause the car to roll away on its own (1 photo)
A critical system malfunction has been reported in the US, the *Daily Mail* writes. It causes parked vehicles to unexpectedly start moving on their own. The issue affects the Lincoln Navigator, Ford Expedition, Ford Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, and Ford F-150 models.
Earlier, following an AI failure, Ford rehired 350 experienced engineers whom the company had previously laid off. Automated quality control had failed to resolve the issue of costly defects.
Ford management acknowledged that they had increasingly relied on AI, but the results fell far short of expectations.
