On the Instagram page of the British clinic DrMediSpa Clinics, cosmetologists posted six tips on how to avoid wrinkles while you sleep. Here are the top recommendations.
1. It's best to sleep on your back to avoid "duck feet" on your face, wrinkles around the mouth, a flattened forehead, and deepening nasolabial folds.
2. You should buy a contoured pillow to distribute weight evenly.
3. The pillowcase should be made of silk or satin.
4. Before bed, it is advisable to apply products containing retinol or its plant-based alternatives to the skin to maintain adequate hydration.
5. Sleep at least 7-8 hours a day.
6. A morning facial massage will help improve blood flow to areas that were under pressure. Cosmetologists also recommend doing facial exercises every morning while showering.
