Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled the new all-electric Mercedes-AMG GT XX, which is already being called the most powerful production AMG in the brand's history. The electric car boasts a 1,169-horsepower powertrain and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.1 seconds. The model has a top speed of 300 km/h, and a claimed range of approximately 700 kilometers. One of the car's most talked-about features was the AMG Forse S+ function, which simulates the sound of a classic gasoline V8. The company decided to maintain the emotional impact of driving, despite the complete removal of the internal combustion engine.
The new model has already sparked heated debate on social media and in automotive communities due to its appearance. Many users criticized the rear design, comparing it to futuristic concepts, while others praised the bold approach of AMG designers. According to preliminary data, the electric supercar will cost approximately $250,000, with the first deliveries to customers expected towards the end of the year.
