An enthusiast built the most flamboyant high-end PC with 15,000 animated GIFs.
To achieve this, the creator spent approximately 200 hours editing videos. Each GIF image was adapted to the appropriate aspect ratio, with a specific playback speed and duration.
All screens simultaneously play looping animations. For this project, the enthusiast spent a long time collecting suitable GIFs from all over the internet. Ultimately, the collection grew to 17,000.
After that, the author spent another 200 hours editing and adjusting the images to the different display sizes inside the case.
All screens are connected to multiple Raspberry Pi 5 boards, which run the system alongside the computer. To connect 13 displays simultaneously, the author had to use numerous adapters and adaptors.
A full image cycle on one display takes almost 13 hours. Despite its unusual design, the computer remains fully functional and can be used for all common tasks.
