A Chinese woman runs a venomous snake farm. The farm currently houses over 60,000 reptiles.
A woman named Qin returned to her home village after graduating from university, where she continued her father's work and began breeding venomous snakes. She currently cares for over 60,000 reptiles, including approximately 50,000 vipers and nearly 10,000 cobras. This dangerous business brings her 1 million yuan annually.
The woman explained that dried snake bones, gallbladders, and snake oil are used in traditional medicine, while the extracted venom is used in medical research. She also noted that she doesn't have a strong fear of snakes, having grown up around them.
