A Chinese woman fell into an old well with snakes and hung there, holding on to the wall, before she was rescued
A Chinese woman named Qin was trapped in an old well for nearly three days.
The fall occurred on September 13, and rescuers found her only two days later. Her son called for help, and a rescue team using a thermal imaging drone located her. She said she couldn't escape due to the narrow well, so she held on to rocks with her hands and feet.
"Countless times I wanted to give up. But then I thought about my 70-year-old mother, my 80-year-old father, and my daughter, who just started college. If I leave them, what will they do?" Qin shared the thoughts that gave her the strength to persevere.
After her rescue, Qin was taken to the hospital with broken ribs, a punctured lung, and wounds on her hands. Her condition has improved, and doctors expect a full recovery soon.
