A crocodile visited a hotel restaurant in Africa
A hungry Nile crocodile entered a Zimbabwe hotel restaurant, frightening tourists. The predator moved toward the kitchen and settled on the serving counter.
The incident occurred on April 17. The 3.6-meter-long reptile reportedly entered the Amulonga restaurant at the Pride Khumbula Hotel. The hotel noted that due to the proximity of wildlife, staff are trained in the proper handling of animals.
Nevertheless, hotel guests were terrified. Footage shows the crocodile slowly crawling across the floor and then climbing onto the serving counter.
It remained motionless for a moment, then slid back down and settled on a piece of furniture.
Experts from the African Parks and Wildlife Authority (APWA) soon arrived on the scene, captured the reptile in a pool, and safely transported it to the Zambezi River, where it was subsequently released.
