In California, police arrested a man who stole LEGO sets. He bought the sets, filled them with pasta, and returned them. He deceived store employees dozens of times.
The California resident bought expensive LEGO sets, removed the pieces, filled them with pasta, and returned the boxes to the store.
According to police, he did this nearly 70 times, stealing approximately $34,000 worth of sets.
The trick was that when shaking the boxes, the pasta sounded almost identical to the LEGO pieces. Eventually, he was caught and now faces charges of grand theft.
