A man stole a beer truck and rammed a police car car
In the US state of Indiana, 41-year-old Randall Baker is suspected of stealing a Bud Light truck and leading law enforcement on a chase that ended with the stolen vehicle colliding with a patrol car.
The incident occurred after the suspect stole the truck from a convenience store in Evansville and refused to stop when police attempted to apprehend him. During the pursuit, the suspect crashed into a police vehicle while a sheriff's deputy was attempting to deploy spike strips against the truck to stop it. The patrol car was uninjured.
Released police body camera footage shows officers surrounding the truck after the crash and using pepper balls, demanding the driver abandon the vehicle. Randall Baker was arrested and charged with several offenses, including attempted murder, vehicle theft, obstructing police, and driving under the influence.
