A UK woman found a safe in an old farmhouse inherited from her grandmother.
A woman named Lucy had been renovating the old farmhouse inherited from her grandmother for several months. In March 2026, she discovered a safe in the wall. She couldn't open it. Her father found the key.
The safe contained numerous antiques: cutlery, letters, envelopes, and a photo frame. Lucy noticed a silver spoon made to commemorate the coronation of George VI and his wife, Elizabeth, in 1937. She also removed a marriage certificate, sealed with a wax seal, and a wedding services brochure, dated February 4, 1961.
