LEGO Unveils a Collectible Set for Aviation Fans (4 photos + 1 video)
LEGO has unveiled a model kit of the iconic American airliner, the Douglas DC-3. It is one of the most produced aircraft in history. 
The Icons: Douglas DC-3 PAN AM Airliner kit is an exact replica of the twin-engine aircraft in the recognizable Pan Am branding, featuring a detailed cockpit, functional passenger cabin, and retractable landing gear. In total, set number 11378 includes 1,903 pieces and measures 24 x 51 x 76 cm when assembled.
In addition to the nostalgic airplane model itself, the set includes a special stand for displaying the model on a shelf, a small information plaque, and four minifigures in historical Pan Am uniforms, including a pilot, stewardess, flight attendant, and cashier. There's also a separate minifigure stand, stylized with Pan Am symbols. The expected price is $220.
