Robot Olaf communicated with the public for the first time

A robotic version of Olaf the snowman appeared at the opening of the Frozen zone at Disneyland Paris.

A Frozen zone opened at Disneyland Paris, featuring the charming snowman from the film as its crown jewel. The "real" Olaf can walk independently, react to his surroundings, and speak—processes controlled by neural networks from Nvidia and Google.

For now, Olaf will only be featured during daily performances at the park to avoid overloading the child's system. Although Disney unveiled the robot in November 2025, the company's engineers are continuing to work on Olaf's technical capabilities and teaching him new commands.
