Nvidia President and CEO Jensen Huang unveiled a real-life Star Wars droid, Blue, at GTC 2025.
Nvidia showed off its Star Wars-inspired Blue robot, and it looks super cute. The little guy was developed in collaboration with Disney and Google DeepMind — under the hood are two computers, Nvidia's most powerful Groot N1 (an AI model for humanoid robotics) and the new Newton engine, which speeds up machine learning in robotics by 70 times.
Groot N1 has two types of thinking: the "slow" one comes up with solutions to problems, and the "fast" one executes them.
