An American nurse became a model, but a sense of duty forced her to return to the clinic (13 photos)
We know of numerous examples of young women leaving their jobs in schools, offices, and even the police to pursue careers in modeling or the porn industry. It turns out that cases of returning to their previous professions do exist, too. 28-year-old Maggie Rawlins from South Carolina once worked as a nurse but later built a successful career as a lingerie model. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she left commercials and returned to her patients.
Maggie Rawlins first appeared in a commercial while still in school, at the age of 15. She was predicted to succeed in the modeling industry, but instead, she graduated from medical school and became a nurse assistant to an oncologist at a major South Carolina clinic.
But very soon, the beauty had to trade her scrubs for sexy lingerie—a Miami modeling agency offered Maggie a contract that was hard for a simple nurse to refuse. The amount offered by Rawlins was so substantial that she didn't immediately believe it was real.
"At first, I thought they were scammers, but my colleague told me I had to take it." She said that if it didn't work out, I could always come back."
In the end, the offer that was hard to believe turned out to be quite real, and Maggie became the face of the world-famous brand Intimissimi. Her luxurious body in exquisite lingerie graced fashion magazines and advertising videos, and her earnings exceeded all expectations.
Despite a successful career and financial well-being, Maggie Rawlins returned to her clinic in early March 2020. She told the press that her decision was due to the onset of the coronavirus epidemic and that, as a medical professional and responsible citizen of the United States, she simply could not act otherwise.
Maggie worked as a nurse until the end of 2020, and when the infection rate in the country dropped significantly, she renewed her contract with the modeling agency. Her first job after returning was a bikini ad for Sports Illustrated magazine.
