In the US, a 27-year-old man briefly escaped a pursuing police officer. He attempted to hide in a trash can, but was betrayed by an alert utility worker.
In Ohio, 27-year-old Jonathan McMillan fled from a law enforcement officer after being stopped for a traffic violation. The officer briefly lost sight of him.
The video shows the utility worker opening the trash can, noticing the man inside, and attempting to attract the officers' attention by actively jumping and running away from the garbage truck.
The offender escaped and ran several blocks, but the officer was quicker and detained him for resisting arrest. He only received a warning for the traffic violation.
