The Return of the Legendary Long Sleeve T-Shirt (4 photos + video)

The story of this sweater began in the 1980s, when Richard Branson gave Diana a Virgin Atlantic sweater. He immediately loved it, and she began wearing it every time she worked out—a navy blue one with the "Fly Atlantic" logo. This sweatshirt became her signature piece. But its inclusion in her workout routine wasn't just for style—Diana used it as a response to the persistent paparazzi, who found it difficult to get new photos because she looked the same every day.

"Every workout attracted an army of journalists with ladders, cameras, and lenses. It was really stressful: 'Why are they so interested in me when there are more important things in the world?' Jenny Rivett, her personal trainer, once revealed that Diana wore the same Virgin sweatshirt to workouts simply to avoid unnecessary attention," she shared.

Diana eventually gave the sweater to Rivette, and in 2019 it sold at auction for a hefty $53,532.
