Twenty-five teams competed in downhill skiing, sledding, and snowball throwing. Temperatures in Jilin Province dropped to -20 degrees Celsius during the games.
Disciplines included sledding, snowball throwing, skiing, and more. Besides winning, the developers are striving to study the robots' behavior in snowy and extreme cold conditions.
Incidentally, last month, Chinese companies launched robotic dogs. These models cost around $1,500. While this isn't a huge price tag compared to the market, analysts have already predicted sales will falter due to low demand.
