A United Airlines plane lost a wheel during landing at a US airport and was captured on video.
The incident occurred at the Orlando airport on January 18. According to a United Airlines spokesperson, the plane, carrying 200 passengers, experienced a "technical malfunction" after landing, forcing passengers to be transported to the terminal by bus.
Footage published online shows the aircraft tilting downward as its landing gear engaged the runway, striking the ground and losing its nose wheel. There were no injuries reported in the incident. However, the airport temporarily suspended operations because the plane blocked the runway and was towed.
