In the US, an American Airlines plane with 153 passengers was forced to return to the airport. Smoke and flames came out of the aircraft engine.
The incident occurred the previous morning, when Flight 1665 took off from Las Vegas International Airport. After takeoff, the left engine of the plane began to smoke. Nine minutes later, the aircraft returned to the departure airport.
There were 153 passengers on board the plane, no one was injured. The exact causes of the incident remain unknown at this time.
