Mercedes-AMG GT3 became a construction kit with an air lift (8 photos)
Mercedes-Benz and CaDA unveiled the new AMG GT3 supercar. The track car comes complete with a pneumatic system for quick pit stops and an engine lift, while the supercar measures just 59 centimeters in length. This construction kit is distinguished by its exceptionally high level of detail.
CaDA's Mercedes-AMG GT3 is built in 1:8 scale. The model reproduces, for example, the characteristic aerodynamic details of the tail section, including the rear wing, racing wheels with center locks and Michelin Pilot Sport tires, as well as a "combat" cockpit. The model features a pop-up hood and functional steering. Furthermore, the "supercar"'s headlights and taillights light up when connected to a power source via a USB cable.
The construction kit consists of 5,463 pieces. Assembly requires 1,735 steps, and the included assembly manual is 827 pages long. Mercedes-AMG has not specified the price of the miniature GT3. The Mercedes-AMG One supercar, built to the same scale but consisting of 3,295 pieces, sold for €275.
