Promised a place in hell: a model rejected by a church became a millionaire (3 photos)

Catholic model Lana Madison, who grew up in a small Texas town where any "otherness" was considered a sin, became a millionaire before the age of 30 and now openly talks about her financial success.





29-year-old Lana says she faced years of condemnation. Church officials promised her a "place in hell," schoolers mocked her figure, and at home they told her to "behave." But as an adult, she found her own path and built a business that brings her approximately $1.6 million a year.

Today, the American model has over five million fans online. She says the same guys who once bullied her now appear in her private messages, asking to meet.

Lana admitted that when she first started modeling, her family thought she was "crazy." At church, they told her she would "burn in hell." But, she says, the critics have long since fallen silent.

"I earn more in a month than many people earn in a year. It's not revenge, but it's nice," she says.



For Lana, coming out was a pivotal moment: she is a transgender woman and calls her transition "the best decision" of her life.

Lana recalls that as a child, she prayed to "become normal" and feared that admitting her feelings would ruin her life.

In fact, the opposite happened: she started publishing content, the audience responded immediately, the business grew to a seven-figure income, and Lana settled between New York and Miami, flying first class and living in her dream apartment.



According to the model, the path wasn't easy. She had to face criticism, the fear of losing her family, and feelings of loneliness. But the decision to take control of her life was a turning point.

"I could have remained unhappy or started over. I chose myself. People can say whatever they want. I'm rich, happy, and finally real," the American added.
