11-Year-Old Boy Conquers Europe with Bird Imitation
An 11-year-old British boy, known for his realistic reproduction of the cry of a seagull, will become a judge at the first bird imitation championship. He has already won several titles at European competitions and will now evaluate the performances of other participants.
A representative of the Somerset Tourism Marketing Department, David Peters, noted that the organizers decided to invite the schoolboy after his high-profile performances on television and online. According to him, the boy's participation will make the event even more vibrant.
Cooper became famous after winning the European Championship in 2024, and in the spring of 2025 he confirmed his title. During his performances, he went on stage in a seagull costume and accurately reproduced the characteristic sounds of the bird. In one of his numbers, he showed an imitation of a "hungry" seagull, which distinguished him from his competitors and received 92 points out of a possible 100.
The boy's popularity quickly grew into worldwide fame. His performances gained hundreds of thousands of views online, and foreign TV channels interviewed him. A Korean team also spent three days filming a documentary about seagulls. The schoolboy also won a German game show, where he received 1,000 euros. Cooper Wallace became a sensation after his imitation of a seagull's cry won him a prestigious European competition and made him famous far beyond the UK.
