Avatr has a factory that produces a car every 60 seconds (2 photos)
Changan and Huawei, in partnership with China Unicom, have opened a new high-tech “superfactory” in China to produce Avatr cars. All production robots at the plant are connected to a 5G network and are monitored in real time, which provides “full transparency from order acceptance to vehicle assembly,” Autohome writes. One car rolls off the assembly line every minute.
Changan and Huawei are not going into details, but they say the plant uses “more than four dozen advanced technologies,” including artificial intelligence. The fully automated line produces one finished car every 60 seconds. The enterprise can produce cars with different types of powertrains and different brands.
The "superfactory" has 369 monitoring systems and 26 checkpoints, and AI is actively used at visual control posts.
Avatr has ambitious plans: the brand promises to bring 17 new models to the market by the end of the current decade and sell 800 thousand cars per year. For comparison, the brand's sales in 2024 amounted to 73 thousand cars, which is twice the result of 2023. Since the beginning of 2025, monthly supply volumes exceed 10 thousand units.
In parallel, the brand is developing an export direction. Last year, Avatr established deliveries to Thailand and the UAE, and in mid-2025 it entered into distribution agreements with dealers in Jordan and Egypt.
