Russian Armed Forces Su-27UB combat training fighter destroyed at airfield in Krasnodar region
On the night of July 25-26, 2025, a combat training fighter of the Russian Armed Forces, the Su-27UB, caught fire at the Armavir airfield in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation. This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press center of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.
According to local residents, there is no communication in the populated areas near the airfield.
The Armavir airfield and the aircraft on it are used primarily to train cadets of the Krasnodar Aviation School.
"Resistance to the Kremlin regime inside Russia is growing. The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reminds that every crime against the Ukrainian people will be met with due retribution," the Ukrainian intelligence service notes.
