China has shown a robot that can change its own battery (3 photos + 2 videos)

Gentlemen armchair analysts, it's all over. It's begun.

The Chinese have unveiled a humanoid robot that changes its own battery and works without smoke breaks, sleep, or Monday depression.

WalkerS2 is equipped with two batteries and can switch from one to the other without turning off. Moreover, it can get to the charging station itself, pull out the old unit, and insert a new one.

Just like you would do if you could insert an energy drink directly into your chest.

A pit stop takes only 3 minutes. And he's back in business. No complaints, no vacations, no smoking room chats.

This isn't just a dummy with servos. Walker is connected to the centralized AI system BrainNet. It has "local brains" and a "cloud coach." The system analyzes data, coordinates tasks, and says: "Go, Vasya, assemble parts on the line." And Vasya goes. No arguments.

Walkers are already in the factories of Foxconn, BYD, Zeekr, Nio, and this is not in theory, but in fact. They collect, sort, move, and generally behave like ideal employees. They don't get sick, don't demand a raise, and don't create a "work chat where there's constant whining."

Under the hood of the Walker S2, everything is serious: it runs on two batteries, while one is working, the second one is resting in reserve, like a shift worker in a box. When the battery runs out, the robot does not wait for an electrician, but simply goes and changes it itself. Thanks to the stabilization system, it moves confidently, does not stumble or fall, like you after a sleepless night.

Artificial intelligence learns on the go: sees, thinks, does. And the main thing is that it can be integrated into any production chain: from car assembly to logistics, where precision, speed and absolute indifference to lunch breaks are needed.

As long as the robot simply changes the battery, everything seems fine. But when the robot starts to decide for itself when to "get up and work" and when to "eat", you involuntarily recall "Terminator".

One step from "replaced the battery" to "replaced the person".
