A graduate of the Chinese Medical University began selling ice cream on the street, and the university administration demanded that the video be removed
Li graduated from Liaoning three years ago and worked at a hospital in her home region of Guangxi. After quitting her job, she started selling ice cream to earn money for her civil service exam.
A viral video about her life has been viewed millions of times, which caught the attention of her university. Her teachers asked Li to delete the video, fearing for the school's reputation.
She said she immediately deleted the video and never mentioned the university again, but then she began receiving insults on social media. Li attributes this to the university's leadership. In response, the university's leadership said it supports freedom of choice and does not condemn graduates' entrepreneurship. Li, however, believes the university should have protected her and demands that it admit it was wrong.
Should she have deleted the video?
