Woman put a pool in the garden for a bear with cubs
Her video has divided users into two camps: some admire the "kindness to nature", while others warn of serious risks.
The footage shows a mother bear and her cubs exploring a small pool filled with water in the yard. The description says: "I bought a pool for a mother bear and her cubs." The animals walk around the artificial pond with interest, and then head towards a tree.
"Many people think that bears are only attracted to food, but things like pools can also arouse their curiosity. These animals are looking for any opportunity to cool off, and pools are no exception," the expert warns.
The author of the video herself acknowledged the potential risk in the comments.
"Anything is possible, but I pray that everything goes well. My street is private, there are only four houses on it, and all the neighbors know about the bear's presence, so we just tried to be careful," the woman noted.
