On the night of June 6, Steven went to a gas station in his hometown of Bend, Oregon, grabbed some supplies, but then, for no apparent reason, decided to burn the station down. Police caught him making Molotov cocktails, and he even threw one at officers who were demanding he surrender.
The owner of the gas station estimated the damage at about $15,000.
