American entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk posted a video on social media of a dancing humanoid robot Optimus from Tesa. The mounts visible in the video do not support the robot, but are intended to insure it in case of a fall.
The training took place in a simulation. The robot underwent reinforcement learning (RL). This method is based on simulating the learning process by trial and error.
The businessman recalled that in 2021, at the presentation of the idea for creating a robot, an actor appeared on stage and performed a similar dance.
“What started as an actor in a suit has now become a reality,” Musk wrote.
