Polish company Volonaut has developed a Star Wars-style flying motorcycle. The Airbike is the first hoverbike of its kind to use jet propulsion instead of propellers. 
The impressive video shows the bike hovering over the desert. It seems as if the person is gliding through the air effortlessly.
The company says: “Our innovative vehicle is reminiscent of the speeder bikes from famous sci-fi films.”
The Airbike was created by the inventor and founder of Volonaut, Tomasz Patan.
Technical features are not disclosed. It is known that the hoverbike is equipped with a patented stabilization system and an on-board computer. This allows the device to be automatically kept in the air and simplifies control.
The manufacturers noted: "This version is the result of months of hard work, solved problems and many failures. It took the creator several attempts to develop a bike suitable for flight. It made its first stable flight in May 2023 in Poland."
The release date and price of the model have not yet been announced.
According to the company, this is such a convenient device that a person "becomes one" with the bike. Thanks to the use of carbon fiber, it is seven times lighter than a regular motorcycle.
Star Wars speeder bikes are single-seat vehicles that can reach speeds of up to 500 km/h and levitate using antigravity technology.
In Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi (1983), Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia are pursued by stormtroopers on speeder bikes on Endor. Similar vehicles can also be seen in The Phantom Menace (1999) and The Force Awakens (2015).
