Well, we continue the theme of the near bright cyber-future.

We have all long been accustomed to electric scooters, unicycles, and even the news that somewhere once again they launched flying taxis, we are no longer surprised. But humanity is desperately trying to saddle the wind.

Three years ago, engineers gathered in Poland, were inspired by Luke Skywalker on a speeder bike and started inventing. Two years ago, their creation even successfully took to the air, since then there have been many modifications, and now a flying bike has been presented to the public.

Volonaut Airbike uses jet propulsion and accelerates to 200 km/h. The built-in stabilization system ensures stability and ease of control.

"The video is as realistic as possible, no tricks, not a drop of artificial intelligence," inventor Tomas Patan told Robb Report. "I had a great camera and FPV drone operators."

“The Airbike’s signature stabilization system, enhanced by an onboard computer, provides automatic hovering and easy control for the rider,” the press release added. “The unique riding position with [unobstructed] 360-degree visibility helps the rider quickly become one with the aircraft and provides a feeling of complete freedom.”

The Airbike is claimed to be seven times lighter than a conventional motorcycle “thanks to the use of advanced carbon fiber materials, 3D printing, and a minimalist approach.”

Sales are expected to start soon, but the exact date is not yet known. It looks much less cool than other hoverbikes, such as the XTurismo or the Razor Flying Motorcycle.

The Japanese XTurismo was presented to the public in 2022.

And this is already a Speeder with eight mini-turbines, presented at the Pacific Air Show in 2023.

Who will be the first to enter serial production and move city traffic jams to the sky, time will tell. Well, we can only hope that our grandchildren will sort out the problems of air bikers, we would like to sort out the electric scooters.
