American scientists accused the Chinese of increasing the length of the day (4 photos)

NASA has discovered that the wily Chinese have built the enormous Three Gorges Dam and thereby changed the distribution of the Earth's mass.





The main attraction in China is so incredibly huge that it has actually increased the length of the year by changing the rotation of our planet. The Three Gorges Dam, which was completed in 2012, stretches across the Yangtze River near Sandouping and is the world's largest power plant by installed capacity.



The width of the bridge is 2335 meters, and its maximum height is 185 meters above sea level. The total cost of construction by the time of completion was 20.4 billion dollars.





The huge amount of water in the reservoir near the Chinese dam changed the distribution of the Earth's mass and increased the planet's moment of inertia. American scientists have calculated that the planet's axis has shifted by about 2 centimeters, and the length of days has increased by 0.06 microseconds.
