A man has opened fire at a Walgreens in California. According to preliminary information, the suspect, 30-year-old Narciso Gallardo Fernandez, had an aversion to drugstore chains in general. Surveillance cameras captured the moment of the attack. The recording shows the man waving a gun before opening fire. 
Madera Chief Jachino Chiaramonte said the motive for the crime is still under investigation. The gunman was arrested shortly after the shooting. He is currently in the Madera County Jail, where he is facing charges. 
The company said the safety of customers and staff remains its top priority. Psychological support has been arranged for affected employees.
