Kwon Young-jun, 36, made a risky leap between skyscrapers to save his family. The man made the daring move on March 28, when a powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 hit Myanmar and Thailand.
Strong shaking was felt in the capital of Thailand, Bangkok, located about 965 kilometers from the epicenter. The earthquake caused serious damage, including the collapse of a skyscraper under construction.
Yong-jun was working out in the gym on the 52nd floor of one of the three buildings of the Park Origin Thonglor apartment complex when disaster struck. The bridge connecting one building to another partially collapsed. The man's wife, Bouyuri, and their one-year-old daughter were in their apartment on the 30th floor of a neighboring high-rise.
"My husband, Kwon, was in the gym on the 52nd floor of the neighboring tower. When the tremors started, he ran across the bridge connecting the buildings in search of me and our daughter. This moment was filmed by eyewitnesses," Bouyuri told local media.

Incredible footage shows buildings swaying as Kwon jumps over a destroyed bridge in search of his family. The man did not find his family at home and walked more than 40 floors down, meeting his family on the street.
